Gin Through The Ages: A Very British Love Affair
Some things which are just quintessentially British. Tea, fish and chips, a heightened propensity for queuing and above all things; GIN! To celebrate our fine country’s enduring love affair with Gin we’ll be throwing a very special one off extravaganza at The Milk Thistle on Friday 17th June.
Ladies, gentlemen, dappers and dandies, we bring you Gin Through The Ages: A Very British Love Affair.
In partnership with none other than Beefeater Gin, a British institution in its own right, we’ll be taking you back in time on an immersive whirlwind journey through the colourful history of the UK’ favourite spirit. Through the means of cocktails, costume and performance we’ll travel with you from the early 1800’s, Bathtub Gin and the coining of the notorious nickname Mother’s Run, through to the dawn of the cocktail at the turn of the century, right through to the modern day obsession with all things Gin.
For just £25 you’ll be treated to three Beefeater cocktails, nibbles, live music and and an array of spectacular dance, burlesque and cabaret acts celebrating the key eras in Beefeater’s history.
Tickets are available now, but will inevitably be in extremely high demand, so hop to it and get your hands on yours today and join us for a whistle-stop tour of the nation’s favourite tipple.
