Gin Club with Dutch Courage and Zuidam Gin
2016 was truly the year of the Gin Club at The Milk Thistle, with every single event selling out months in advance, so we’re incredibly excited to see what 2017 has in store for us, and we’re kicking the year’s Gin Calendar off with a very special event, featuring not one, but two different distilleries.
Thursday 26th January
On Thursday 26th January we’ll be hosting a bumper Gin Club showcasing two of our very favourite Dutch spirits; Dutch Courage and Zuidam. We’ll be joined by Russell Jackson, brand ambassador for Marussia, who’ll be on hand to share his unrivalled knowledge on both, and of course, treat you to three expertly crafted cocktails and tasters of the spirits.
Dutch Courage dry gin is distilled from Nine botanicals using a unique distillation method with separate distillation of each botanical, producing a fresh, complex and layered flavour from a total of 14 distillations.
Zuidam Genever is handcrafted in the traditional distillery that has been owned and operated by the Zuidam Family for more than 50 years using malted barley, rye and corn milled by traditional windmills. After the careful distillation the Genever is aged in small barrels which have previously held Bourbon or Olorosso Sherry.
